Future Me

This self-portrait is a request from Tatum Kempers to the universe to allow the evil (sick) spirits to leave the body and to heal and protect it against illness, now and in the future. The image is a nod to “de Gaper” (someone who is yawning). The gaper is a statue of a man's head sticking out its tongue and was previously used in the Netherlands as a signboard for pharmacies.
